Why we started
It started with a piece of gear that failed at exactly the wrong moment. Not dramatically, just quietly — a plastic clip gone brittle in the sun, a strap that had rubbed a bald patch behind a front leg, and a long walk back improvising a leash out of a jacket sleeve.
That walk back was the whole idea. Dog gear is sold as a cute accessory and built like one. But a collar on a trail, or a tether in a moving car, is safety equipment. It should be specified like safety equipment — real materials, real dimensions, honest limits — and you should be able to check those numbers against your own dog before you spend anything.
What we make
A focused range, not a catalog. Collars, leashes and ID for everyday. Travel and car gear for the part of the trip that happens at 70 mph. Hydration for the miles in between. Cooling mats and beds for where the day ends.
Every product page lists what it's made of, its actual dimensions, and how to look after it. If we can't tell you the specification, we don't sell the product.
Two things we're upfront about
Shipping takes time. We work with specialist manufacturing partners rather than holding stock in a warehouse. That keeps prices reasonable, and it means your order takes 1–3 business days to process and 7–20 business days in transit rather than turning up tomorrow. We say so on every product page and at checkout, because finding out after you've paid is how trust gets broken.
All sales are final. At our size, running returns would mean charging everyone more. So we put the effort at the front instead: real specifications, published dimensions, Trail Notes on getting the most out of the gear, and an inbox where a person who knows the products will answer a question before you buy. And if something arrives damaged, defective, wrong or incomplete, that's on us — we replace or refund it. The full policy spells out exactly which situations are covered.
Where we are
We're a small team based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, shipping to customers across the United States. Small enough that when you write in, you get a person who knows the products rather than a ticket number.
