Welcome to PawVerna. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PawVerna online store, website, products, content, and related services (the “Services”). The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to PawVerna. By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and account information
You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or use the Services with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Information you provide for orders or accounts must be accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account.
2. Products and pet safety
We work to describe and display products accurately, but colors, dimensions, and appearance can vary slightly by screen, manufacturing batch, and measurement method. We may update, limit, or discontinue products without notice.
Choose products appropriate for your pet’s size, strength, behavior, and health. Inspect pet gear before every use and stop using damaged or worn items. Use walking and vehicle-restraint products only as described on their product pages and under responsible adult supervision. Attach vehicle tethers to a properly fitted body harness, never a collar. Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, our vehicle accessories are positioning restraints and are not certified crash-protection systems. Cooling products provide a comfortable resting surface; they do not prevent or treat heatstroke and are not a substitute for shade, water, ventilation, supervision, or veterinary care. Seek urgent veterinary help if a pet shows signs of heat illness or distress.
3. Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An order is accepted after payment is authorized and we send confirmation that it has been accepted. We may decline, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including inventory errors, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or shipping restrictions. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the canceled amount to the original payment method. Review your shipping address and order carefully before submitting; changes may not be possible after processing begins.
4. Prices, payment, and taxes
Prices and promotions may change without notice. The price displayed at checkout when you place the order applies, subject to correction of obvious errors. Shipping charges and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted and agree to pay all charges associated with your order.
5. Shipping, returns, and refunds
Shipping destinations, charges, processing times, and delivery estimates are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and can be affected by carriers, weather, address issues, and other events outside our reasonable control. Returns, cancellations, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal shopping purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, submit false or fraudulent information, violate another person’s rights, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content without authorization, or use the Services in violation of applicable law. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, PawVerna, Shopify, or others.
7. Intellectual property
The PawVerna name, branding, website design, text, graphics, and original content are owned by PawVerna or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping. No other license is granted, and you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
8. Third-party services and Shopify
The Services may include links, payment services, apps, or features provided by third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for third-party sites that we do not control.
PawVerna is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services. Sales and purchases made through this store are transactions directly between you and PawVerna, not Shopify. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Shopify and its affiliates are not responsible for PawVerna products, orders, or transactions.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Except for promises expressly stated in these Terms, a product page, or required by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawVerna disclaims implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed. PawVerna is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Services or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
10. Changes, severability, and governing law
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from publication. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where PawVerna is established, together with any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
